MS or PhD assistantship available starting Jan or May 2022
Our lab is recruiting an MS or PhD student to estimate distribution and abundance of avian species of conservation concern in southern Illinois. Using point counts and acoustic recorders, the student will work to understand drivers of decline in aerial insectivores across the region.

As of Summer 2021, Brent Pease will be an Assistant Professor in the Forestry Program at Southern Illinois University. His research will focus on understanding the role of regional land management in wildlife conservation.
